The arrangement between Energy New England and Flynn Financial Partners offers a new dimension to the resources available to Utility members. Conceptualized more than two years ago, this vision is a result of a collaboration between President and CEO of Energy New England, John Tzimorangas, and Managing Partner at Flynn Financial Partners, Tim Flynn. This opportunity is accessible for all members of Energy New England, and will provide them with institutional asset management strategies geared specifically towards the unique needs of each system.
This offering is currently available to all Massachusetts Utility and Institutional members and nonmembers of Energy New England. It will be extended to all Utility and Institutional entities throughout the greater New England Region on or about October 1, 2014.
This program will offer our institutional clientele four separate and distinct centralized portfolio strategies. These offerings include: short term, short-intermediate term, intermediate term and long term. Allowing members and nonmembers alike maximum flexibility to invest in one, two, three or all portfolios based upon their specific time horizon(s), risk profile and portfolio needs. Flynn Financial Partners will work closely with each member to define appropriate objectives and portfolio weightings.
The institutional client will decide upon a weighting or allocation of assets between one or more of the four portfolio strategies based upon their particular needs and objectives. They will then decide upon an initial and/or ongoing systematic investment amount to go into each in accordance with stated goals and directions. These amounts can be changed (increased/decreased) or weightings altered at any time. Portfolios can be viewed online and monthly, quarterly, annual performance reporting will be provided to each system/client.
